News Voices Colorado, Colorado Media Project and Colorado News Collaborative (COLab) are working together to improve representation for people of color in the news media. They are collectively hosting a community conversation this evening on the heels of publishing a new report.
The Black Voices Working Group has come up with five recommendations and detailed steps for communities, newsrooms and funders to learn how to improve access to news and information that serves Black communities.
At the event, taking place Tuesday, Sept 21st from 5:30-7:30pm and titled “The Time is Right Now“, you’ll be able to hear from Black Voices Working Group members and other collaborators about their newly-released Black Voices report.
