- Quite a few new food establishments have opened recently: Little Lama Café, Moxie (Lyons), Dynamite Shack (Ward), Laguna Mexican Restaurant (Longmont), South Street Market (Louisville), McCaslin Thai (Louisville), Waffle Lab on the Hill, Basil Bowl (Lafayette).
- By the end of October, all the eateries at Broadway and University Avenue will have closed.
- Food Events: The final Wednesday Boulder Farmers Market is October 6th.
- Cooking Tip: Know of a local tree with apples going to waste? Pick some, wash them, compost the bad ones, roast the good ones in a pan with water – make applesauce!
