The Cannabis Report – June 3rd, 2021

This time on the Cannabis Report, Leland Rucker tells us about a new law, HB-1090, that would allow Coloradans to have up to 2 ounces of marijuana, clearing the way for Gov. Jared Polis to issue more pardons for people convicted of for having up to two ounces in their possession. We also discuss some of the many elements of HB-1317 which recently passed in the House and is now in the Senate, where it is expected to pass as well. Some of the many facets of HB-1317 include making it more difficult for those 18-20 to get medical cards, restricting access to higher potency cannabis products, funding research on the physical and mental health effects of high potency THC marijuana and concentrates as well as finding ways to enforce daily purchase limits.
