OutSources – Addressing Anti-Asian Hate and Building Solidarity: A Conversation with CORE

OutSources’s Sean Kenney speaks with Winnie Pham and Ananda Dimock, two members of Community Organizing for Radical Empathy (CORE).

Winnie and Ananda talk about CORE’s work in addressing injustice and fostering equitable organizations, particularly in the wake of the Atlanta shooting and growing hate crimes and racism directed towards Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.

As a part of this conversation, Ananda and Winnie talk about how anti-Asian racism shows up in the LGBTQ community in particular,
and what solidarity might look like in building futures that better honor people’s inherent humanity.
