Black Farming on the Front Range

The Biden administration’s recent economic stimulus package included $5 billion for Black farmers to help address decades of discrimination that drove many growers out of business. Of the 3.5 million farmers in the United States, only 1% are Black. University of Colorado student Dani McLean visited some Black farmers on the Front Range to talk about their experiences and about how to establish a more equitable and representative food system.
