Reverend Monica S. Jackson Discusses Hope, Perseverance & Redemption

Reverend Monica Jackson, a 30-year resident of Denver has served as a long-time community spiritual counselor, uplifting and teaching others. She knew from the age of 16 years old that she was meant for a higher calling and became a licensed and ordained pastor in 1998. During her journey, she has overcome enormous obstacles and has proven to be incredibly inspiring, courageous, and resilient.

She has survived the loss of both of parents in 2 years, multiple life-threatening health crisis and the unimaginable loss of her lower right leg and right foot to diabetes. She has also triumphed by being able to walk across the stage after years of physical rehabilitation to receive her Master of Arts with Honors with a 4.0 GPA in Biblical Studies from Colorado Christian University on May 8, 2021.

Reverend Jackson sits down with Tish Beauford on “Public Affair” to discuss her difficult path of strength and perseverance and how she has been able to make her way through to embrace her new normal with confidence and independence. She currently resides in Stallings, NC since 2018 just outside of Charlotte with her beloved sister Deborah and serves as Assistant Pastor at the Greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
