Vintage Theatre Brings Virtual Cabarets, In-Person Play Reading to Main Stage

Since beginning of the pandemic, Vintage Theatre in Aurora, like all venues, closed its doors to the public. However, they continued to feature local musicians and performers through virtual cabarets. Friday night, April 16 is their latest cabaret, “What We Do for Love, A Return Home”. Tickets are still available and the performance will be available to stream for up to a week. Coming up in May, Vintage will also feature “Fireflies”, a romantic comedy as a staged reading. In-person tickets and streaming options are available. KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo spoke with Artistic Director Bernie Cardell about Vintage Theatre during the pandemic, and what they’re gearing up for in the future.
