KGNU’s Shannon Young spends a half hour with Mahsa Hojjati, Shahrzad Khorsandi and Nushin Farjadi – three Iranian dance instructors and cultural promoters – to hear about a first-of-its-kind, online dance festival. Public dance performances are restricted within the physical borders of Iran and the 1st virtual Raqsvareh Dance Festival seeks to create an online space for cultural activities for people within Iran and across the larger diaspora community, including the one right here in Colorado.
