OutSources – Pain, Privilege & Intersectionality

We revisit an interview with Dr. Nita Mosby Tyler, Chief Catalyst and Founder of the Equity Project. The Equity Project supports organizations and communities in building diversity, equity and inclusion strategies. When she was last interviewed, she was the Senior Vice President and Chief Inclusion Officer for Children’s Hospital Colorado and former Executive Director of the Office of Human Resources for the City and County of Denver. In both positions, she was the first African American woman ever hired. Dr. Mosby Tyler is a local, regional, and national award-winning lecturer, popular workshop leader, and strategic consultant who is in demand across the nation. She has given her time to many community projects, boards and commissions including as the Diversity Chairperson for the Human Rights Campaign at both local and national levels and former board member of the One Colorado Education Fund. In 2015 we start with her speech at Denver Gay Pride and cover a range of topics including intersectionality, pain, and privilege. Her name in 2015 was Dr. Nita Mosby Henry.
