Over the past three months, we’ve learned about how a pandemic can impact all aspects of our lives, including the critical systems that society depends on to sustain life…like clean water.
In this edition of Connecting the Drops, KGNU’s Sam Fuqua speaks with Colorado public health managers about the processes in place to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission through water systems. And we hear from two water providers–the Eagle River Water & Sanitation District and Denver Water–about how they responded to potential staffing shortages and other challenges stemming from the pandemic.

Connecting the Drops is produced in partnership between Water Education Colorado and Rocky Mountain Community Radio stations. This series would not be possible without the generous support of CoBank, a national cooperative bank helping to provide financing solutions for rural water systems.
