The 2020 Census is still going on, but the dates have been extended due to the coronavirus pandemic. The deadline for people to complete the survey forms for their households has been moved to October 31, 2020, more than two months later than its previous date of August 15.
Local committees are still mobilizing during the corona virus pandemic to get the word out on the importance of participating in the census. There are four complete count committees in Boulder County that are working to ensure that everyone is counted in 2020.
Peggy Leech, Co-President of the League of Women Voters Boulder County, is the Co-Chair of the Boulder Complete Count Committee, Non-Profits, for the 2020 U.S. Census.
