OutSources: Queering Organizations with Kathryn Leslie

Interview with diversity and inclusion specialist, Kathryn Leslie. Kathryn is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication at the University of Colorado Boulder, and her interests lie in studying the interplay between identity and organizations from a queer theoretical perspective. Kathryn discusses the challenges that individuals with marginalized identities face in organizational contexts, and how a queer approach can help disrupt oppressive practices.

During the interview, Kathryn mentions Dr. Sara Staley and Dr. Bethy Leonardi, co-founders of A Queer Endeavor at the University of Colorado, and their work applying queer theory to K-12 educational settings.
