Hemispheres: Safe City – tech from India to help in the US

Technology from India will hopefully help us in the States as we come to use it. We’ll hear from two Regis students, Trisha Litz and Bailey Gent. But first, Lauren Anderson is the global board chair  of Safe City. It’s an organization that uses a mobile ap to keep women safe. It was started by Elsa DSilva in India and has spread to Nepal, Kenya, Cameroon, Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago. I caught up with Lauren on September 21st, the date of their launch to the United States, right here in Denver.
