An estimated 9000 people gathered at CU in Boulder on Saturday to hear Senator Bernie Sanders talk about his bid to gain the Democratic nomination for President. KGNU’s Liz lane caught up with some of them to hear why they came out to hear from Senator Sanders.
In the light of yet more mass shooting, Sanders addressed gun control in his speech on Saturday. He offered his condolences to the families of those who were killed in Friday’s mass shootings.
Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont spoke for about 45 minutes and He started by addressing his Outsider status…telling the crowd that they were part of a political revolution.
Sanders also spoke about the need for immigration reform and shared his own family’s story of immigration.
