It’s almost Halloween – a time for witches, ghosts, and “Zombies.” Zombies are best known as the walking dead in horror movies, or by the zoned out face of someone playing video games. But Zombies are gaining a livelier status in a modern game of tag. Humans vs. Zombies began a decade ago at Maryland’s Goucher College. While it’s often a college game, Humans vs Zombies is also the inspiration for a popular, and sanctioned, after school club at Fairview High in Boulder. KGNU’s Shelley Schlender reports.
