Winter Storm Heading to the Front Range

Lyons Weather Analyst Greg Berman has been forecasting weather in the Colorado media for over 30 years,  including here on KGNU. He’s the founder of the local Flood Watch Network, and he’s been monitoring the latest winter storm that is moving in to the Front Range today. Heavy snow is forecast to begin around 2pm in the metro area with 1-3 inches of day time accumulation possible. Heavy snow will continue overnight with up to 5 inches of accumulation possible. Berman says that we are entering into a period of several days of sub-freezing temperatures.
