The Romanian National Holiday is December 1st, but on December 3rd people will have a chance to celebrate this event and see Romanian folk dancing and hear Romanian singing at a celebration and fund raiser at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder from 12:30-3:30pm.

The event is organized by the Romanian American Freedom Alliance  (R.A.F.A.) and celebrates the Romanian National Holiday and raises funds for poor children in Romania. Radu Popescu with RAFA says it will be an opportunity to participate in local folk dances which will be performed by Hora Romaneasca and Balkanica dance groups as well as hear live folk music by the Romanian choir Doina.

There will also be short presentations about Romanian culture, as well as a silent auction to benefit the needy families in Romania.
