PARIS-“Our losses are much more deep and much more painful. You can’t have everything easily replaced by money.” A coalition of South Asian communities have joined with affected Caribbean communities to describe to dominant countries the challenges that they face as a result of the actions of those same polluting countries.
Maria Nailevu from the organization DIVA for Equality-Fiji spoke to KGNU in further depth after the panel session. She described how three local villages have already been moved because of the impacts of climate change:
