“The thing I like about biking to work is it puts you in a good frame of mind, it’s kind of the ultimate anti-depressant.”

Between 6,000 and 7,000 cyclists are expected to take to their bikes on June 24th, 2015 as part of the annual bike to work day. KGNU’s Sebastien Meyer spoke to several regular bike commuters in Boulder who say there are many benefits to biking, including, avoiding traffic congestion, no parking fees and how ” it puts you in a good frame of mind, it’s kind of the ultimate anti-depressant.”

Community Cycles has organized more than 50 local businesses around Boulder to host breakfast and bike service stations that will serve food and drinks to participants from 6:30 to 9 a.m.

KGNU’s Boulder studio at 4700 Walnut Street is one of the participating breakfast and service stations.
