“Hard Rain Revelations” at NCAR

The National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder is now featuring a brand new photographic exhibition in their Art-Science Gallery by local Boulder Artist Jane McMahan. The exhibition is called “Hard Rain Revelations“ and was commissioned by EcoArts Connections. NCAR will featurea  conversation with Climate Scientist and Jungian therapist Jeffrey Kiehl. He will be speaking with Artist Jane McMahan and the public on Thursday, February 5th at NCAR, beginning at 5 p.m. Earlier, KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo stopped by The NCAR Art-Science Gallery to talk with Artist Jane McMahan and find out more about her process, and Marda Kern with Eco Arts Connection.

Final Friday Event for Adults at the Denver Art Museum

Longmont Theater offers donors roles in upcoming production

ltc-1Have you ever been interested in acting on stage, but was afraid of the time, or the commitment or the challenge of learning a lot of lines? The Longmont Theater Company is offering donors the chance to join the cast of Harvey (opening Friday, January 23rd at 7:30) for a one-line role, as part of a fundraiser designed to revitalize LTC’s classic Marquis that adorns Longmont’s Main Street. KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo spoke with Director of Harvey and LTC Board Member Rob Mess, and he told me about the Marquis and why it’s important to renovate and improve LTC’s symbol.
