Cleaning up Colorado’s Rivers

Posted: August 13, 2014 at 7:54 am by , in Breaking News, Featured, Morning Magazine

Water recreationists and conservationists are joining forces in Colorado to call for more water to be left in rivers, and cleaner water. Angling plays a huge role in Colorado’s multi-billion dollar tourism industry. Randy Hicks with Rocky Mountain Anglers in Boulder says that’s just one reason for the state to clean up its rivers. Randy Hicks and Rocky Mountain Anglers are organizing a clean up of Boulder creek to happen on Saturday September 6th from 9am-12pm. They’re hoping for about 150 volunteers to come and help clean up a part of Boulder creek, and they’ll be throwing a party afterwards for the volunteers.
